Join me for an introduction to painting that looks to our Whangaroa taiao (natural environment) for creative inspiration.

No matter your level of experience, I will walk you through the painting process step by step, so by the end of the night, you will leave with a completed painting to share with whanau and friends.

This paint night is especially for those who showed an expression of interest in the 10 week Toi Ora workshops I recently posted and shared with Whangaroa.

The painting below will be the inspiration for our mahi toi. With 3 hours to complete, I’ll walk you through the techniques and mediums I used to build this painting.

By the end of it you will have your own version to take home.

This paint night experience offers the opportunity to meet with me and to answer any questions you may have. It will also provide you with an understanding of what I can offer you creatively and to decide if the Toi Ora, 10 week workshops are for you?

When: Sunday 24th March

Where: The Kaeo Bowling club

Time: 5.00 to 9.00pm

Cost: $60 per person (includes materials, venue hire, artist fee and light refreshments)

Minimum: 5, maximum: 10
